Everything in the shop begins with a unique piece of art. As a lettering artist, I love the process of slowly bringing an idea to life from brainstorming to sketches to finished art.

High-End Materials

I have to admit, I’m a bit of a materials nerd. I could rifle through beautiful paper samples for hours on end. Don’t get me started on foil colors and finishes! And hand-poured pearlescent acrylic makes my heart sing.

Made in My Workshop

I make or prototype everything on-site in my Oakland workshop. I have all sorts of analog and digital maker tools for letterpress, riso, lasercutting, CNC routing, and more!

I’m a lettering artist, author, maker, printer, parent, and too many other things to list. I’ve been working professionally for nearly 20 years and have always loved creating custom artwork, playing with different production methods, and doing as much of the process as possible with my own two hands.
